"Charming, well maintained older property. Welcoming host, homemade muffins for breakfast, and cookies for snacks. Comfortable bed, great shower, very clean. Absolutely no complaints and we’ll stay here whenever we go to Ruidoso."

"This property was perfect for us. Very nice staff and beautiful surroundings. HOWEVER, Expedia AARP charged my credit card $62.52 more than the actual receipt was from the property so there was NO "special" savings here. Won't be using their travel site again."

"Cliff swallows greeted me when I drove up at sunset; they were busily building nests around the canopy over the front door. They are beautiful, and the hotel won't have bug problems with them there. The ladies at the front desk were absolutely lovely; I was welcomed at check-in, and next day my questions were answered with a smile. The entire staff seemed to enjoy their jobs and get along with each other - that says it all. My room was gorgeous! It was quite large and had the overall feel of an elegant old hotel, but with all the clean, modern conveniences you could ever want. The view was of a mountain across the way."
