「Such a hidden gem. This place is more than a stay. It's an experience. Things to note are that you have to take a small boat to reach the property so pack light. The nature and beach are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the perfect blend of shelter and being one with nature. The restaurant on site is superb with quality organic ingredients that create art on a plate. Staff is friendly, approachable and super helpful. Can't wait to come back. 」

「I’ve been to many hotels in Mexico, The velas did not disappoint. As far as the resort I would go back every year. We went as a family with about 10kids total, this is a definitely older crowd who gave the kids crusties when they splash them with a ball or screamed too loud. There were a few families and the family atmosphere is great! Very accommodating to large groups at dinner and always taking care of us. 」

「The room was clean, shower was nice with good pressure.. We had a city view which was neat to see the pool was clean and not overly used. We had the continental breakfast, which had fresh fruit and cold cuts with cheese and tomatoes, cuts, cheese, coffee and juice. Easy walk to rhythm of the night and a couple other restaurants within walking distance. Thank you so much.」
