"This hotel was a great place to stay. When I booked it as a quick stopping point on our trip I was unaware of the history of the property. After getting to the property and doing research on it I was even more pleased with it. I love old buildings and historic places, so it was a great opportunity to stay in a place like this. We arrived after hours and were confused at first about how to get in, but called the number in the listing and staff answered right away and told us exactly where to go...

"We were returning north to MN. And stumbled upon this Lovely historic hotel. Staff wonderful, and I have never seen a more spotless room. Restaurant on sight. Nice sitting areas in lobby. Outside grounds were beautiful."

I can’t honestly think of an area that deserves a less than excellent review. They have earned my business when I’m in town even if I have a longer commute. "
