"The facility was nicely maintained and our room was very clean. The night before we stayed in a different city and different hotel chain that was very unpleasant. I was leery about our room conditions and the clerk went out of her way to show us the room to make sure that I was satisfied. Needless to say, I was very pleased and we would definitely stay there again."

"If you are staying in Hill City, this place is perfect. The location is walkable to anything in town and right next to the 1880 train depot. It is modern and clean and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was cordial and informative."

"We didn’t get in until late so it was very dark. I initially missed my turn because there wasn’t a lighted sign. I was quite nervous as to what the room would look like as it was in a run—down part of town and the parking lot was pretty dark; but, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was! It is not modern, but served its purpose as a safe and clean place to sleep for the night. I like that the motel had reached out to me earlier in the day via text giving the door code and cell phone number if we needed anything during our stay - so check in was a breeze! Something worth mentioning that is not the motel’s fault; we hadn’t had dinner yet and were starving by the time we got there. The choices in town were very limited. It was a Friday around 8:30p and most places were closed or closing. I would strongly recommend eating before you get into town. "
