「Great stay in an unfamiliar place 」

「On first arrival the car park had plenty of space with a gentle slope to reception. Rang the bell to check in. All very pleasant. Guys name is John and he is as nice as they come. Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down....

「Nice comfortable hotel with pleasant staff , gorgeous view ,close to town center, seafront position has easy access to the beach and harbour with many pubs and restaurants and activities along the seafront.」

「My only comment would be the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. In the unusual heat we have been having. The heat hit you when entering the room as opposed to the other way round. Apart from that I would put the Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa in the best top 3 Hotels I've stayed at in this country. I would rate it's location food and standard of accommodation and facilities as excellent. Thank for a great stay. 」

「Didn't like repeated auto emails asking for self check in and credit card details for incidentals. Didn't like silly health and safety window locks that didn't allow airflow into room. Fans are not at all adequate on hot days. I wonder where health and safety stands if one faints due to the heat on hot days or the risk or access if there is a fire. I did like that reception staff was very helpful to find me another room on the cooler side of the building. TVs need upgrading to Smart TVs. 」

「Stayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. 」
