Excellent bar and staff were warm and helpful. Room was faultless. Excellent value. Thank you very much!
The food was lovely and the bar and restaurant were nice. Breakfasts were really nice and all staff were friendly and helpful.
The only drawback was the road noise at night.
Nice enough hotel for a couple of nights. Decent food and a comfortable room albeit the traffic noise was a little intrusive. Staff were friend and Nicole an absolute star.
The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean.
I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel.
The staff were lovely, very attentive and friendly. It was really busy when we arrived and had we wanted a table in the restaurant we wouldn't have got one, they did fit us in for dinner. It might be sensible to book a table at the same time as booking the room next time, but it was a very pleasant place to stay. Everything you needed was there. Most of all though, it's the staff that made it such a lovely place to stay. Thank you!

Not impressed
The walls were paper thin. The road noise was loud. There were quite a few dogs even though your overview said pets weren’t allowed. They need to improve the lighting to the overflow car park. The staff were really friendly though.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming from point of entry to leaving.
Room wise, the bed was lumpy and room too hot, despite turning down the radiator. We were in a room facing the road, wish I'd brought my earplugs with me. I'm a light sleeper so the road noise unfortunately kept me awake.
First room I was put had broken bath with hand scrawled note informing me, I assumed they were full that’s why I got a broken bath as that all that was available checked and they had 6 rooms available. The manager was excellent moved me to room with working bath but the room was in tired state damage all over the place and I discovered not entirely clean bloody finger print on the wall above the toilet and blood on the carpets outside the bathroom, clearly not been cleaned with any detail.
Evening staff were wonderful food was ok standard fare nothing to write home about breakfast was good but morning staff apart from the cleaner who was friendly was lacking asked for printed bill guy just handed it to me said have a good day and walked off didn’t ask about the stay or anything. Bed and pillows were bit poor in the second room but passable slept on worse so overall not the worst but could do better and everything needs some attention as it’s looking tired or damaged some investment is needed like there is big water stain from a leak as you walk up the main stairs paintwork is all damaged or mucky it’s not a good look and wouldn’t take a massive amount of money to repaint and tidy up.

We returned here to enjoy their Thursday night steak night (which was enjoyed during a previous stay) but even though it showed online, it had been taken off the menu. Had a boring dry burger instead. To be fair when I said it was, they took it off the bill. Our room was like sleeping in a boiler room...it was sooo hot even with fan on and window open. We asked about it but just told to turn down rads. They were off but underfloor we could feel pipes heating so an uncomfortable sleepless night was had. Ask for room 11 if you're the cold sort! Could due with touching up much of the paintwork around the room and many doors. Later discovered an extra £10 charged to my bill. I knew from a previous stay that there is £10 charge for dogs which we did have, but no one said they were adding that on if that's what it was for. I didn't think that was legal to add without saying to customer what it was for. I didn't see it until I arrived home so didn't say anything.
Staff are friendly and helpful if asked but this stay had too many little things wrong. Won't hurry back but will give it another try in due time as our first stay was nice.
I booked at the last minute via Expedia and selected the breakfast option. Slightly cheaper than the "official" Greene King site. Fantastic greeting by staff - the checking in procedure was very slick. The room was clean (two single beds - I only needed one). Bathroom had recently been refurbished. Shower was great (Grohe fittings - classy!). Bed was comfy. Tea/coffee making facilities great. Dined that evening in the restaurant, it was very quiet but I was attended very well and the steak and chips were delicious. Breakfast menu was very good and the full English was excellent. Plenty of other options too, exactly what you would hope and expect. The view from the roof mounted (velux style) window onto the river was excellent but my only gripe was the road noise. I think the window (room number 11) needs a refurb, although it's not misted, to enhance the noise insulation from traffic. If I was staying again and I'd certainly choose to then I'd ask for a room that faced out towards the rear of the property.

Check in was good. Shown to stairs to get to the room. Breakfast layout was explained and asked if we'd book a table for dinner.
Room was at front of property facing busy road(noisy). Room ok for a 1 night stay.
Food was ok but a bit rushed for some reason as not busy.
Breakfast quantity very good.
Overall a pleasant stay. Think the property could do with a spruce up.
all clean staff briliant and smiling , rooms clean
twin beds a bit over soft , but cosy for many
someone needs to paint the top of stairs fire door its been scratched to death gives a poor image when everything else is very good
there can be road noise but they even supply earplugs if you want them , tea and coffee fine refilled each day
meals are good value and well presented full english breaky to die for included

Nice Devon pub with rooms
Nice Devon pub with rooms opposite the river, managed by Greene King.
Excellent hotel and very friendly staff, clean, tidy and felt safe. We were made to feel welcome by the management and all the servers/bar staff. Ll do an excellent job. Nothing too much trouble.
I was very impressed by the hotel.
Location good , staff very friendly , Access to accommodation via the overflow carpark was excellent as I am disabled ( no stairs ) , very Good Breakfast
Nothing to dislike about the Dartbridge Inn
Do Not rely on the Post Code
The Service was good.
Room was clean and comfortable.
The beer was nice but the Red wine I had was corked.
The food was quite nice but was let down by not having certain things on the menu etc.
