The view from the rooftop balcony was lovely, and the neighborhood setting was quite and restful after an active day visiting the historical sites and beaches. "The property itself was very nice inside the unit, definitely off the beaten path but for the price we couldn’t have asked for more, friendly staff even with language barrier. Unfortunately the pool was being filled at time of arrival and not available until the following day. There was confusion with our booking as I had received confirmation from Expedia and that I could pay upon arrival at property, however when we arrived they said we didn’t have a reservation as payment was not processed...

"Friendly people! I like that the localtion is not in a hotel zone but rather in a nice neighborhood with eating options. One negative was that the WIFI signal did not really reach our room upstairs. Also be advised, no coffee on premise. - we found a nice cafe nearby though! "

"Friendly hosts. Gave us option to upgrade our continental breakfast which was reasonable. :) Also was able to use a guest kitchen which helped with the budget since Holbox is not terribly cheap."
