"The room I was in needs work. Carpeting and mattress needs replacing. I get the feeling the room was not cleaned properly. Lack of sufficient towels and washcloths. The door to the room was barely on the hinges. I had a hard time getting the security latch on or off without tackling the door sideways with my shoulder. The door just was not properly aligned with the door jam. Bedding was thin, not comforting. The property itself was good. Staff was awesome. Access to the beach and pool was wonderful. Aquarius shares space with Embassy Suites. They are right next door to each other and Aquarius guests can freely enter the lobby and dining/restaurant area of the Embassy Suites through the courtyard via the pool area. They share access to the beach and pool but it seems like if you stay at Aquarius, you don't get the same amount of amenities or access as the Embassy Suites guests such as free cocktails during happy hour. What a bummer. I will stay at the Embassy next go around. "

"Overall great stay. The room was very nice with an ocean view and comfortable bed. The pool area and beach access were convenient and quite nice. There were some issues that had me knock it down a star- our room’s mini fridge had food from the past guest still in it which grossed me out. The bathrooms near the pool outside were consistently dirty so much that I started going inside to the lobby bathroom instead. The worst part was that it was always hard to get good pool chairs. Most of the nice ones along the pool were reserved for paid rentals which mostly went unused all day. There are simply not enough regular use chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests them to be reserving a couple dozen chairs a shady spots for outsiders to come in and rent. They charge a hefty resort fee so chairs and umbrellas should be a given. I am pregnant and to not have a spot in the shade was a problem for me. The included breakfast was fine but it was the exact same every day, nothing mixed up at all, so it was really monotonous. That being said there’s not much in the area so it was convenient to have on site. The food at the beach bar restaurant was fine but incredibly overpriced — but you’re paying for the location! It was quiet and not crawling with spring breakers like the Condado are was, which was nice. You do have to uber pretty much everywhere from this hotel- which we didn’t mind because we wanted a quieter area! Easy airport access too."

"We booked an ocean view balcony premiere room but was placed in a garden view room because we arrived a day late due to flight delays/weather, then we had no hot water for showering until we were placed in the original room we booked a day later, they did give us credit for good and beverages and a night free but are still waiting for the refund…. The property is spectacular and staff polite. "
