My wife and I stayed at the Looking Glass for our cruise vacation and it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. My wife is extremely afraid of bugs and this was the first hotel we looked up that had no bug reviews in comparison to the big name hotels. We got in at 10 pm and received our code to get into the building earlier that day. Once we arrived and opened the door to the lobby, it was bright, smelled good and felt safe because of the code-locked door.
Upon entering our room, the first thing we noticed was how clean the room was and how spacious the bathroom was. The one thing to note is that you cannot flush toilet paper but we were told this is common on the island. Our family stayed in a separate hotel and couldn't flush there either so oh well! The room had the basic necessities that you needed- a bed, desk area and bathroom. The towels were soft and plush but the shower had no door or curtain so be aware of that. The bathroom was clean as well as the room and bedding so it made for a very comfortable stay. The staff was great as well. If I were to come back to PR, this will always be my hotel choice! Please note, there is no elevator in this hotel so if you are staying on the highest floor that is something to be aware of. We had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs so that was my only grievance but other than that, you WILL NOT regret staying here. The owners were also very responsive via email & text so I really appreciated that! 10/10!
