My partner and I recently stayed at the Oliver Hotel, and unfortunately we were very disappointed with our experience. When we arrived at approximately 8:30 PM, there was no one at the front desk. We called the hotel multiple times to let the staff know we had arrived, but it took about 40 minutes before someone finally assisted us with check-in. The lack of staff presence made the arrival process unnecessarily frustrating. After entering our room, we noticed that the floors were extremely dirty, which was very concerning. Additionally, the room had no window, something that was not made clear beforehand. Throughout our stay, there was rarely anyone available at the front desk, so we had to call whenever we needed assistance. On one occasion, we called to request extra towels and were told they would be brought to our room, but they never arrived. Communication and overall service from the staff were very poor. To add to the frustration, despite asking for the Wi-Fi password on the first night, we never received it during our entire four-night stay. Overall, the level of service and communication at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below expectations.

Great if you are comfortable with hands-off properties. Make sure you let them know your arrival window so someone is on property. Because that is not always guaranteed. The staff I did encounter was friendly. The location is great, Keypad front door is nice and secure. I could walk anywhere I wanted to in old San Juan from this location and never felt unsafe at night. The room has all the basics you need. There is a pharmacy next door for any sundries or toiletries you may need. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the floor was not good. It was quite sticky to step on. I just wore socks the whole time. The bed was fine and comfortable. The shower drain was slow but never overflowed. Overall I would totally stay here again. The price was very fair for the accommodations provided.

I recently stayed at The Oliver Hotel in San Juan and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The bathroom was not clean upon arrival, which created a poor first impression. On the second day, housekeeping never came to clean the room or make the beds. The room also lacked basic amenities, including a safe for valuables and a closet or proper storage for clothes. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations for cleanliness or comfort, and I hope management addresses these issues for future guests

After being buzzed into the hotel we waited over 20 minutes for staff to join us in the lobby to check us in. Unfortunately there was no key card entry. Anyone coming in to the hotel had to ring the doorbell and wait for staff to buzz you in. Otherwise friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with a sitting area but TV only in bedroom. So we never used the sitting room. Hotel located within walking distance of Old San Juan. Fifteen minute walk to Plaza de la Colon. Expedia asked us to rate the breakfast but we were not offered breakfast nor did we see a place in the hotel for breakfast.

Definitely a different experience to not have a ton of amenities or staff on site at all times as they manage multiple properties. That being said, they were always a quick text or phone call away and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location and very clean room. I would definitely recommend this spot for the next traveler looking for a great (and walkable) place to stay near Old San Juan and/or Condado.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Oliver Hotel. I arrived early in the morning and was pleasantly surprised that my room was already ready for check-in. Everything was clean, well-kept, and beautiful. The location is fantastic, just a 15-minute walk to Old San Juan and the beach.

It was a great value for its price. The staff was friendly and the room is spacious and clean. There was not as many amenities like free water etc but can be found nearby. You can definitely walk a bit to get to Old San Juan from this location though a bit farther. Overall I had a great experience

Hotel was quit ,and clean on arrival but you need to ask to clean the room, asked for towels and cream for coffee. Got the towels an hour later never got cream . No one at front desk, need to call for assistance

My stay at Oliver Hotel was disappointing. Check-in was delayed since no one was at the lobby and I had to wait about 15 minutes. The staff was kind but inexperienced and disorganized. I didn’t receive the entry PIN or Wi-Fi code and had to request them several times. My first room had no electricity and the welcome sparkling wine (Diamond benefit) was missing, so I was moved after another wait. The coffee machine and floor were not clean, and my key failed twice. The location is central and safe, but the hotel offers no food service and, overall, it’s not worth the $190 per night. Staff is friendly, but the operation needs much better organization and professionalism.

Good day, I recently stayed at your establishment. A few things u can improve on: 1. Having a 24/7 receptionist, when I arrived I waited 20min in the rain for the receptionist to arrive. 2. Food/gift shop on property: when I arrived to the property there were no amenities available. I would suggest having a relationship with Uber eats to ensure comforts for your guests. 3. Noise: Saturday evening/ Sunday morning there was a loud dunking noise that vibrated the walls of my room 310. I messaged the front desk ( who was not on the property, and they still have no idea what that noise was.
