「Very helpful communication with Natasha regarding our arrival time and progress during our road trip, and very welcoming when we arrived after a long day of driving. Outstanding spotless and clean room! Delicious breakfast served at 9 o'clock, and a very accommodating and nourishing "to-go" breakfasts prepared for us on the road as we had over 550 miles to drive the following day, Woodstock is a definite stay if we pass through in the future!」

「We thoroughly enjoyed this place. This charming rental is comprised of Greek orthodox antebellum architecture, and even had a personal elevator to our room. The breakfasts were elegant and wonderful. We also really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. Great choice!」

「Ophelia's was a fantastic place! A comfortable and unique B & B that we found was mere blocks from the place & purpose of our visit to Independence. The room was very nicely decorated and had the usual TV, free internet & coffee as well as refrigerated beverages ($$) and fine liquors ($$). One big plus is that you can also purchase the Turkish cotton bathrobes that are provided to the guests (my wife liked them). There is elevator service to the rooms, which set directly above the restaurant....

「It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. 」

「I am shocked at how high of stars this hotel had when it is average at best. The hotel is a whole complex which was difficult to navigate and even find the hotel. It is on a beautiful property, but the beds feel like you’re laying on cheap plastic and the breakfast is disappointing. (No waffle maker, which is always what I’m looking for at hotel breakfast). Overall it was a fine overnight but certainly does not deserve the excellent rating listed. Okay at best」

「Hotel was very clean - was just after Argentina left so the hotel was still had their decor all over, but that was pretty cool. Room was great - except the AC wasn't consistent throughout the entire room, likely because of the rooms shape. Staff were very helpful, especially as it concerned parking. The day I left was the last day of free parking, though their back lot was not available during that time because of the break-down of the facility from Argentina's stay, so perhaps their back lot...
