「Very helpful communication with Natasha regarding our arrival time and progress during our road trip, and very welcoming when we arrived after a long day of driving. Outstanding spotless and clean room! Delicious breakfast served at 9 o'clock, and a very accommodating and nourishing "to-go" breakfasts prepared for us on the road as we had over 550 miles to drive the following day, Woodstock is a definite stay if we pass through in the future!」

「Charles was an excellent host. His breakfasts were delicious and he made sure to accommodate for my dietary needs. His home is furnished perfectly for the time period yet still has all of the modern amenities. He has truly thought of everything. We enjoyed calling his cottage home for a few days.」

「Ophelia's was a fantastic place! A comfortable and unique B & B that we found was mere blocks from the place & purpose of our visit to Independence. The room was very nicely decorated and had the usual TV, free internet & coffee as well as refrigerated beverages ($$) and fine liquors ($$). One big plus is that you can also purchase the Turkish cotton bathrobes that are provided to the guests (my wife liked them). There is elevator service to the rooms, which set directly above the restaurant....

「It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. 」

「I am shocked at how high of stars this hotel had when it is average at best. The hotel is a whole complex which was difficult to navigate and even find the hotel. It is on a beautiful property, but the beds feel like you’re laying on cheap plastic and the breakfast is disappointing. (No waffle maker, which is always what I’m looking for at hotel breakfast). Overall it was a fine overnight but certainly does not deserve the excellent rating listed. Okay at best」

「The breakfast staff was terrible, as soon as they put the breakfast out they went and stood right by the food with their arms crossed and starred at everyone's plates. They spoke Spanish and I do too they were talking about how much food was on people's plates and saying rude things. I travel often and never had this happen before it was a terrible experience it made me feel like never going back to that hotel again. Sucks because the rooms were clean and it was very close to worlds of fun but...

「There was a wedding party and they were very loud all night long. The bathroom wasn't very clean. The lady that worked in the bar was very friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the property and surroundings. She was the best part of the whole trip」

「Very nice renovated hotel! It was clean, and was within walking distance to PNL. I really enjoyed my short stay. It was nice that they had paid parking in the back as well!」

「This property is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay. Everything was beautifully decorated and clean. Check in was easy. Some off street parking was available and if those spots were taken, street parking was available. The property does actually have 2 separate buildings so pay attention in the instructions of which building you are in. It's located close by to Art museums and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and the trolley.」
