「We immediately checked out after seeing the rooms. Smoke detector was missing, cleaning was not thorough, and one of the rooms had not been cleaned at all.」

The room has quality mattresses, upscale pillows, bedding, and towels, and looks modern with newer furnishings and carpet. Everything has been remarkably clean and pleasant. 「This was my 2nd stay here and planning to stay again in the future. Continental breakfast is still quick and filling with a variety of choices. Maybe biscuits and gravy would be a welcome addition. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I was impressed by the brightly lit parking lot. I feel very safe staying here.」

「Very clean hotel. Recent upgrades to property. The bed was soft, shower was powerful with body wash, shampoo, lotion provided. Breakfast was surprisingly good with many options from waffles to biscuits and gravy to sausage, bacon and eggs.」

「A lovely historic hotel. The Spa was top notch. The 3 Owls restaurant was phenomenal. And the desk staff were friendly, quick, & knowledgeable. The Ghost tour is a lovely bit of local color. I would recommend ppl opt to stay here rather than KC.」
