「This was such a wonderful little place hidden right in the middle of a neighborhood! It’s exceptionally clean and quiet. Christopher was so friendly and pleasant and shared the history of the home with us. And the breakfast was incredible! Fresh, homemade and delicious. We would stay here again in a minute! 」

「Very large room, the massage chair wasn’t great but the bed was very nice. The hotel is older but is very nicely styled. The grounds are very nice with a lake outside. The foyer was great with fire. Mocktails at the bar were very nice, breakfast was simple and there different restaurant options close by. The staff were FABULOUS!」

「Excellent stay for two days with family. The kids really enjoyed the pool, and both the dinner snacks during happy hour and breakfast were amazing. The facility is well maintained, and the overall experience was very good. One drawback we noticed was that the bathroom exhaust fan in Room #325 was not working. Other than that, everything was great, and we will definitely stay here again when we visit KC.」

「It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. 」

「The room was very comfortable, but the facility needs to restore valet parking service. It's a very large establishment with several good restaurants, but the Burger Joint left a lot to be desired.」

「We liked everything except the fact that the elevator was inoperable for the first three days of our stay in the hotel. So we had to walk three stories up to our room on the third floor. The staff, cleanliness of our room and the intire hotel, breakfast and availability of parking were all excellent. We feel, that some type of compensation should be offered by your company for the inconvenience that we endured during the time the elevator was not working.」

「3 families stayed here. We found it dirty and not well maintained. We were very disappointed. The bathroom was not cleaned well. A big wad of gum in the carpet and carpet fraying in room 100. The pool felt very slimy and dirty on the concrete area around the pool. I d9 have to say the first girl we encountered was very helpful at the front desk. The man working the breakfast area was great! Even with those pluses, I will not book rooms here again.」

When we checked in, we were given a very welcoming tour of the house and orientation. The house is very centrally located close to shopping, Union Station, restaurants, and the streetcar.
