「Breakfast was delicious and the cook was ready to serve us earlier so we had time to enjoy coffee in the sitting room/gift shop before attending church service.」

「Excellent stay for two days with family. The kids really enjoyed the pool, and both the dinner snacks during happy hour and breakfast were amazing. The facility is well maintained, and the overall experience was very good. One drawback we noticed was that the bathroom exhaust fan in Room #325 was not working. Other than that, everything was great, and we will definitely stay here again when we visit KC.」

「Very large room, the massage chair wasn’t great but the bed was very nice. The hotel is older but is very nicely styled. The grounds are very nice with a lake outside. The foyer was great with fire. Mocktails at the bar were very nice, breakfast was simple and there different restaurant options close by. The staff were FABULOUS!」

「The hosts were great. We arrived in the city early and they allowed us to keep our luggage there during the day until check-in. The host had brought our bags up to the room. When we checked in, we were given a very welcoming tour of the house and orientation. The house is very centrally located close to shopping, Union Station, restaurants, and the streetcar. 「Very unique place, not a hotel feel. Property was immense and only a small portion is hotel. Room walls were adorned with large inspirational words. We had a problem with our tv and the staff was extremely diligent in trying to solve it and ultimately moved us to another (nicer) room. The breakfast had some allergy friendly options. We also enjoyed the nature trail on site.」

「The room was very comfortable, but the facility needs to restore valet parking service. It's a very large establishment with several good restaurants, but the Burger Joint left a lot to be desired.」
