「The resort is clean but outdated. Getting the Preferred upgrade is not worth the money. The food is average to poor. If you want a good steak at this resort you will not find that, it is all tough flank steak at every restaurant. The best food we had at the resort was Gohan and Oceana. The french restaurant Bourdeux was not good, food was luke warm. Most of the staff are very friendly. Francisco the Preferred pool bartender is not very friendly and welcoming. 「Positves: Great beach location. Nice server staff, Danna & Ixtel at the pool bars were excellent, friendly, courteous, and attentive, as well as Felix and Oscar in the main buffet area. Beautifully maintained grounds. Air conditioner in guestroom. Negatives: 1.-No air conditioning in the main buffet room. This is place where a guest usually gets some relief from the hot and humid climate. Every other resort we have been to has air in their dining areas. 2.-Room has very little space to unpack...

「The main pool was closed. This made the two smaller pools extremely crowded. Most of our visit was trying to find a place that was shaded as my daughter is a cancer survivor. There were no umbrella at the adult only pool and not enough at the other pool. We came to relax and enjoy the pool, but that did not happen. The refrigerator was not stocked with drinks on the first night and there was nowhere to get ice. What a disappointment!」
