「I booked a room for one night. I was allocated room 440. The room was unbearably hot and was uninhabitable as a consequence. Despite my protestations I was unable to move rooms and ended up having to sleep in the car. I ended up asking for a refund which is yet to be forthcoming. I am waiting to hear from the nanager」

From what I can see - the pool is a separate business - run by great staff, as a lido. It’s fab. The hotel is pretty but Fawlty Towers-like in its management. 「Very cozy and comfortable location. What a great experience when you finished the wine tasting your at Denbies vineyard and walked back to the farmhouse! Enjoyed a lot the sunrise view over the vineyard. It's just spectacular.」

「The location is good. However this is an old hotel, most of the lifts are out of service for my entire trip (8 days), and I was even trapped in the lift for few mins. Besides, the housekeeper is impolite and he felt annoyed when my husband requested for the wrong item. 」
