"Really lovely hotel , staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our 3 nights stay and we are hoping to come back again soon. I loved everything about Wotton Hotel, worth going for a walk around Wotton Estate it’s like breath of fresh air. Last but not least the food!! It was so delicious ,roasted cauliflower soup, the bread 😋 and the pork shoulder and tender loin was superb. So as the steak. "

"Bresakfast menu was unavailable at the time of my visit. I think it was to do with kitchen maintenance. As for the bar, I don't drink, so it had no interest to me. Having passed it on previous occasions, it looks cosy and quite intimate - a nice place to have a quiet drink or two with someone close. The staff, as always, are courteous and polite. The girls are lovely and efficient, the guys are just efficient. lol The carpets are old and very dated and the paint ccould really do with touching up. However, my purpose there was just to have a bed for the night while I attended a local tournament for a few days, and to that end, it was perfect. The ensuite shower is spot on, although it could benefit from a shelf of some sort to put your shower gel on. Did I mention,it's half the price of most of the other local hotels?"

"Only able to check in via a kiosk. Which would have been fine however, it did not recognize my name, zip code or the booking number. It took over an hour for a member of staff to finally arrive. He was extremely rude. The room was basic and clean but no wash cloths. And the breakfast was ok- the bacon and sausage were dried out. Will try not to book here again. "
