"Prado Hotel Shanghai 3-10 Feb 2019
Reception was ok and quick. As it was Chinese New Year, things seemed rather quiet.
The room was somewhat funky as is the general hotel design. The room met expectations and was relatively quiet, though the rubbish truck that came at about 6.00 am was a bit noisy.
The bathroom is large with a full sized bath and a separate shower cubicle that was good. Lights over the vanity unit could be brighter as it was a bit dark to see one’s face makeup,...

"A perfect little gem of a hotel right in the centre of the hutongs. Very clean and welcoming with superb service from their staff (who speak English). The hotel is like a little museum to Chinese shadow art with so much information, examples and a library. An added bonus was the actual shadow art performance and demonstration by the puppeteer. "

"Our stay was truly amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant offered both local and Western dishes at reasonable prices.
It is very convenient to rent a scooter and to discover the hotel‘s surrounding and the stunning nature and karst mountains.
We would definitely come back to Yangshuo and stay again at Yangshuo Village Inn!"

Beijing was our first leg of a China trip so we were still completely uncomfortable with the language barrier. The staff (especially Mark in concierge) spoke English well so that we could ask for assistance and advice. Staff throughout the stay are extremely nice... always smiling.
There is so much included in this hotel above and beyond the gorgeous decor and clean rooms. You could go the whole stay without paying for a meal (please tip the amazing staff though) because there is free breakfast...

This hotel is amazing! The staff speak excellent English and are eager to help with anything, from booking taxis to helping you with planning your stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a welcome drink and then spent the evening in the rooftop restaurant, which offers delicious food and provides breathtaking views.

I would like to thank the staff for excellent service. We were not happy with the room we booked, due to the view, and they were happily upgrade the room for us with river and the bund view (well worth the 300Yuan/night btw). The room service was quick whenever we asked for anything, even request to clean room at all hours of the day. I was impressed with the breakfast buffet, the happy hour complimentary drinks, the lounge area (my wife’s favorite, which offer coffee tea and cookies 24/7), and...

This hotel's location was perfect for exploring Suzhou. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Lion Grove Garden, Humble Administrator's Garden as well as Pingjiang Road and the canals where you can shop and take boat rides. The hotel also offers an hourly shuttle to Humble Administrator's, the train station and airport. My friend and I were able to take an affordable cab here to and from the train station as well as short, affordable cab rides to Tiger Hill and Master of the Nets Garden. The staff...

Sanya, China was the last of our four country, Asia vacation. Grand Fortune Bay Hotel was impressive, every bit 5-star. Room was grand and spacious. We had a tub in the balcony and used twice. Very romantic with the curtain drawn. Rooms on the 1st floor can walk straight into the swimming pool from the backdoor. The inclusive breakfast buffet is a must. It has Asian and Western flavors and large selections. We dine at the Noodle Store Restaurant one evening. The pulled noodle was fresh...

One of my favorite hotels. The resort is amazing. I wish we had more time to enjoy our villa! The villa was comfortable and spacious- well designed. The assistant manager was exceptionally helpful in giving us tips on where to go and how to take local transportation. Would go back!

The hotel itself was breathtaking, it was like visiting Disneyland (but far more classy). However, like many historical properties, it has the issues of old buildings. In this case, our room had many termites crawling from under the rug, in floorboard cracks, and the bathroom. Other than that, the room was so nice; well furnished, very cozy, especially in such a noisy/busy city. Great walking neighborhood, fairly close to public transit. Some of the staff speak English though not as fluently as...
