Banff Park Lodge

Banff Park Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so there can be some noise at times and you may find yourself walking through construction areas. We really appreciated that the hotel called us prior to our arrival to let us know about the ongoing work and took the time to answer any questions we had. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished renovations! The location is fantastic—right downtown and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tubs on a rainy morning. The entire pool area is beautiful and was a great way to spend some downtime. We had breakfast at Crave and opted for the buffet. It was quite busy due to the rainy weather and a conference taking place at the hotel, and it seemed the restaurant wasn’t fully prepared for the larger crowd. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which normally wouldn’t have been an issue, but we found the staff handling the wait to be somewhat unfriendly and not particularly apologetic. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. We would happily stay here again, especially once the renovations are complete! Overall, we would recommend this hotel and would come back again."

"Great hotel stay. Very comfortable, clean and convenient. Having restaurant on-site was helpful after late check-in. Staff was excellent. 15 minute walk to downtown with bus stop available in front of hotel. It should be noted that you do have to walk outside from elevator to room, so if it’s raining then you will get wet. Room and amenities were very good. View from room was partially blocked from hotel access the street."

"The property was in a great location. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. The spa area was fabulous after long days of hiking. The restaurant attached had great food with even better prices. We really liked the complimentary bus passes that we received upon check in. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room but other than that the room fit our needs and the beds were comfortable."
