Love the Buffalo Mountain lodge! It's just far away from downtown that you don't get all the crowds. They just redesigned the restaurant, which is a super cool space. Has a low key alpine ski lodge vibe.

This is a nice place to stay away from the hustle bustle of town but still very close just a couple minutes. There was a fireplace in our premium yeah hi this is Steve hi hi yeah yeah yeah 720 499 second my memory is 4378 let's see whoops did you say yeah thank youroom, and it's important to know how to use them; they can become Smokey if they the wood is not pushed away from the front of the fireplace. They stock the wood every day which is nice and provide fire starter. The beds were very comfortable and our bathroom was big with a tub and a shower. I think the few negatives were just the difficulty with the parking lot and then having to walk up and then down the stairs and a room was kind of far away from everything which made carrying skis and luggage and everything kind of a pain. If you have a large vehicle like a truck it is definitely tight parking there but we were able to get a spot every night I don't think the restaurant is great and I was not impressed with breakfast. I think from an amenity standpoint it would be nice if they had a cafe with good espresso and not just a cheap machine there it would also have been nice if they had some pastries and some better food there but it was no big deal there's a big hot tub that's built in that was well maintained and it's a very quiet place to say so I would recommend it especially for people who want a bit more nature than you get staying in town. All my staff interactions were excellent.

Great place. Staff are excellent. We arrived early and they let us check in early as soon as room was ready, even upgraded us. Hot tub is nice addition after a day of hiking!

We did lots of winter hiking while on our stay for 6 days we absolutely loved our room and all the food from the restaurant that is on site The Prow! The room was comfortable and quiet and relaxing.

Awesome location on tunnel mountain that makes you feel immersed in the Banff mountain experience. Close to local trails and we loved the deer that would often come near or onto the resort property.

Firstly, every staff member we interacted with was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. The location was also great. We wanted something that was close enough to town but felt like we were actually in the mountains and this was it! The only area of improvement would just be the age of our particular room. While they are actively doing room upgrades around the property, ours happened to be an older one and unfortunately that meant we could hear most of what our neighbors were doing. Our mattress was also fairly firm which is not my personal preference but seemed to work fine for my boyfriend. Overall I think once they finish all the upgrades this will be a 5/5 for me. We look forward to coming back in the future to see what they've done!

We had a fabulous 2 night stay here. The room was so cozy-deer right outside our window! Bathroom amenities were L'Occitane. The restaurant is really great. We went for a cocktail one night and ended up staying for dinner because the vibe was so good. Service was excellent. They provide free bus passes to get into town and the stop is right outside the hotel. Super easy to get to the main street and back again. Highly recommend-it was an unexpected highlight!

LOVED THE WOOD FIREPLACE!!! Lots of wood stored by our unit so we never ran out. Love the free bus transit passes. Banff is small enough that it made it very convenient to use to go down down or to the Banff Gondola. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the go tub as well. We didn’t use the fitness centre to can’t comment on that. We had a $25 credit that we used at the restaurant and the food was very good. Will definitely be coming back.
