"This hotel is located in an excellent position for main st Banff and is well worth considering. My only criticism was that the room allocated was on the ground floor and didn't receive any natural sunlight. This mean we had to have lights on at all times and made the room a little depressing."

"We had a wonderful room - very large, well-appointed, with a lovely balcony overlooking the woods. The room was quiet; lodge had easy access to bus station across the street. Passes were included for some of the ROAM routes which made our downtown and attraction visits easy to access."

"Loved this property! The entire property was immaculate, staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked the location, being far enough away from the main area of Banff town to not deal with the traffic and people, but close enough to walk or hop on the bus right across street. Highly recommend Hotel Canoe!!"
