「We were very impressed with everything about the property. We would not hesitate to stay there again if ever we are in that area.」

「Checked out on arrival as the room had no air conditioning and the temperature of the room was at least 45 degrees, we were offered a fan but this would not have helped. The room was also really small, with an unpleasant smell but it was nicely furnished.Requested another room as apparently some rooms do have a.c. (The hallway leading to the room was a pleasant temperature) we were told they were fully booked (although Trivago showed 3 rooms available when we looked for somewhere else)...

「What a beautiful day this was. The views from the Inn are stunning. I was welcomed by Kevin (the owner) on arrival. I enjoyed a fabulous home-cooked styled curry for dinner (a must have if you are there for curry night). The rooms are clean and nicely set up. Both Kevin and Suzanne are superb hosts. Looking for a great place to stay this is it. I look forward to my return.」

「The stay was good. The pub was clean, the staff really friendly and the food was good too. But I'm not sure about putting guests in the top floor rooms with only a fan! The rooms were unbearably hot. The fan did nothing and the only time the room cooled was the early hours of the morning. Not good!」

「Parking was easy and safe. Location of the property was perfect both for accessing Dartmoor and wildlife spotting (lots of unusual birds in the grounds). Staying at Two Bridges was a treat; it is a unique hotel and has an amazing history」

「A great hotel with an amazing view right on the South Sands beach . Quite a distance from Salcombe if you are walking and the roads around the area are very narrow ( single track) and steep. We used the ferry to get to Salcombe although it only runs until late afternoon and costs £5.50 each way . The food was good and quite reasonably priced. The decor at the hotel was a little tired . Lots of dogs were in residence and were made very welcome. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Overall...

「Beautiful position at base of Haytor Rocks. Parking easy and plenty of room inside and outside no matter what the weather. Staff great. Would recommend try and book with breakfast included. Likely to be a better deal. It is a shame the hotel has yet to install an electric charging point. There is one at an adjacent tourist facility but out or order. Other than that great!」

「Avoid, avoid, avoid. Quite possibly the worst place I have stayed. It's not 'normal pub noise', it's club music from 15years ago playing until around midnight. No soundproofing. Room was filthy, hairs on top of the bed (didn't lift the quilt to see what was underneath); floor hadn't been vacuumed, was dirty and heavily stained: toilet hadn't been flushed, let alone cleaned, whatever was in there had been festering for what looked like a week. No air con and no fan in the room. Room felt...

「We had a lovely stay there with our family. The cottage we stayed in had all amenities and plenty of space. The cottage didn’t have AC but there was a fan and the staff was accommodating when we asked for a second one. The pool and facilities were well maintained and clean. The restaurant was okay for something on site. Beautiful location by the river. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay.」

「The staff were excellent, very obliging and helpful. The corner room 207 did not have a decent balcony only room for two small chairs. The other rooms were a decent size and the balcony was room enough for two chairs and a table.The area had single track roads and with a fair amount of traffic it took some time to get from A to B. The scenery was lovely from the hotel and the sandy beach was just over the road.」
