"Second time at this property. Room was ok, small pebbles on floor, looked like a quick vacuum. New Smart shades malfunctioned, we couldn’t put back up. The shades kept trying to engage all night, kept waking us up. We contacted Management and they tried charging the shades, but there was a defect in the motor. They were able to raise the shades half way for the second day of our stay. There was a constant humming noise all night. Disappointed in our stay. Unfortunately, our Daughter graduated so...

"This property is dated, but it is so clean and the staff is so friendly that the fact that it is dated doesn’t matter. The ladies that serve the free breakfast are so kind! "

"I hadn't stayed here for a long time, and the Inn was still amazing! It was very nice to see that it has been kept up, but hasn't lost its "Inn" feel. Beds are comfortable, common areas and the room were very clean, and the staff all very nice."

"This location, The Charles Inn at Vacationland in Bangor, ME is on your website and allowed me to book 3 rooms and it hasn’t been in operation for 2 yrs. I drove 4 hrs with family to arrive and find out we in fact did not have rooms to stay the weekend for my daughter’s college graduation. I had no other option but to look for 3 rooms elsewhere at the last minute and had to pay $1,300 more than I thought I was paying for the first place I thought I had booked. This location needs to be removed...

"I wasn't expecting much based on the low price. The room was small and basic, as expected. The surprize is that it appeared to be very well maintained and very clean. I would stay there again."
