The location is perfect: nestled in the rolling hills of Chiante just 15-20 minutes from Florence. The rooms are clean and up-to-date with beautiful views from the windows. More than anything, Thomas, the owner and manager was more than kind and helpful. We felt at home. Thomas gave us directions, tips, good conversation, and help with anything we asked. The food in the morning (with a daily cake lovingly made by Thomas's mother) was incredible. Our expectations were surpassed. We highly...

This property is one of our all time favorites now! The room was huge, separate dressing area with a view as well as a view over the Arno from the bathroom. The bed linens were really that . . real linen! Something I've seen rarely in the last years. The staff could not have been more helpful. The shuttle service to Florence was also really nice. It is a place which is dignified and beautiful without the gilded palace atmosphere. It truly deserves all 5 of it's stars. We would love to...

This is a beautiful hotel just outside Florence. It is about 15-20 minutes from the main city of Florence but it is worth the drive if you looking for a peaceful relaxing quiet hotel. The grounds are fabulous and the restaurant on site is superb. The hotel is decorated in rich colors and beautiful furniture and has great historical items. It took a little while to find it, as our gps was confused, but we loved it when we arrived. Staff was great. Beautiful courtyard outside of the restaurant and the rooms, restaurants was great. Rooms were clean and great. The bed and pillows were very comfortable 10+ in that department. Smart tv and minisplit were nice features. The only thing to warn people about is the corner shower is very small. I’m 6’2” 200lbs, and if anyone was a football player or slightly overweight they might get stuck...

If you are planning to visit Florence, this is the hotel you should book! It won't let you down. Your Florence stay will be brilliant and memorable.
I booked this hotel after read someone's comment. As I learned, the location is a bit far from the center of city. Even so, it is still worth to stay at this hotel. If you take a taxi, it costs 10 euro from/to hotel approxilately. For money savers, taking a bus #14 just for 2 euro may be suitable. The bus stop for #14 is only 2 blocks walk...

The place is very clean and quiet. It is in an exclusive neighborhood. Very safe to walk around. Their staff are very friendly and very service oriented. Breakfast was faboulous.
The only thing is, it is a little further away from the city. Need a taxi to go anywhere but the taxi is also readily available and staff will call them for us. Wait time is very short usually less than 10 minutes.

What a fantastic experience at Milu! To start, the staff was friendly and made us feel at home right away. Our room was clean and quiet, with the most amazing shower! We enjoyed the breakfast on the patio and found it to be a very satisfying way to start the day. The hotel maintained a relaxed feel while still being vibrant - colorful, modern art and design to enjoy while relaxing with a cup of tea from the open library. We would definitely stay again, thanks Milu for a great experience!
