"The room was nice and spacious. The shower and sink are in the room, which is unique and a nice feature when staying in a hotel that has shared bathrooms (there is also a shower in the shared bathroom). The shared bathrooms were clean and well kept, and the staff were very kind! The receptionist gave us a map of Florence and pointed out/circled recommended things to do. We also got replacement shampoo and soap everyday. Would recommend! "

"Very clean and spacious room and clean bathroom, Very quiet and a 30minute walk from the main train station and most of the the attractions in the city. There was a nice continental breakfast too and the room was made available early for checking in as we had arrived earlier than expected. There were a number of restaurants and cafes nearby "

"This was our first visit to Florence. The first room we were given (216) was very poor. Bedding Threadbare, Smelled of bleach Bathroom had only one light over the mirror so the rest of the very small bathroom was in the dark. The shower had fittings missing and a tile off. It was grubby overall due to being so old. The tiling and fittings looked like they were over 30 years old. It desperately needed a refurbish overall. The extractor fan bearings were worn out so it was very noisy when running. The Toilet would flush itself again a few minutes after being flushed. The curtains and net curtains were dusty and grubby. Looks like they had not been washed for many years. The staff were very good though, and agreed to move us to another room the next morning. This was much better. Although would rate it as being average rather than good. So this helped rescue the trip for us, otherwise we would have had a terrible stay."
