"We booked a 2 bedroom standard apartment for 9 nights with a family of 4. We were extremely impressed by the tidiness and size of the pool, grounds and location. The standard 2 bedroom apartment serviced our needs and requirements during our stay and it was much larger than we expected which was pleasing. We loved that the apartment had cooking facilities, a large fridge, dishwasher, a washing machine and dryer, plus 2 bathrooms with 3 girls is a big bonus. The balcony had a great view of the...

"Enjoyed staying at the Pacific Cairns. Five minute walk to the where the boats for the Islands depart and the day bus tours. Very central to eating places like the Night Markets. The bar fridge is a decent size and the bed and pillows very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you don’t have a car like was our case. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Staying at the Mantra Amphora was a pleasurable experience. The pool, courtyard, and grounds were beautiful and well groomed. The apartments were very comfortable and spacious. We even enjoyed the channels we viewed on TV. We appreciated the restaurants that were in walking distance. The complex provided a safe and covered area for our vehicle. "Great location, nice place to stay, however their was no cleaning for the 6 days I was there, you should consider empty the bins and replacing towels say every 3 days other than that it was a good hotel to stay at. Over all score a 7"

"Large rooms for the price, lots of power sockets. Maintenance is average however - both globes in one light fitting were faulty. The shower head leaked, and it was hard to keep shower water from splashing out of the tub. There is no hairdryer. (We found one that was broken but it had been left by a previous customer!) The reception staff were great, but reception opens late and closes early. Overall though, it was a good value stay!"
