「The room was a bit cramped for two adults and a 10-year-old, but it was generally clean and well-maintained. However, the shower system was quite disappointing: it was extremely loud when turned on, and the water pressure was very weak. Additionally, the walls were very thin; we could clearly hear the neighboring room whenever their shower was in use, and the noise from their children playing was loud enough to make the walls shake. 」

「Locke is a new hotel, located at the end of South Colonnade, Canary Wharf. Modern with open plan style incorporating cafe, bar and open seated areas. Staff were great; young and enthusiastic (Sophie and Conor were a delight). The only issue I had was checking in after 10:00pm took a little longer as reception didn't seem to be staffed. Rooms are great, well appointed and overall, I'll definitely be back.」

「Some random thoughts: 1) Someone's hair easily spotted all over the bathroom's white walls when we checked in. Told front desk ( later with photos taken at the scene when repeated requests to clean them were futile ) as well as left notes to housekeeping yet the strands were never removed. 2) No green tea sachets and was bluntly told " we don't have green tea ". This is Marriott! 3) Telly not working properly and later fixed; cracked walls along doorframes with paint worn off. 4) Housekeeping...

「Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da es nicht möglich war ein Fenster zu öffnen, war es von großem Vorteil eine gut funktionierende, relativ leise Klimaanlage zu haben. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Hotel ist sehr gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen (die Bushaltestelle quasi vor der Tür und die U Bahnhaltestelle Canary Wharf ca. 10 Gehminuten).」

「First night arrived in London, finding my way to Canary Wharf. Couldn't believe how beautiful and comfy the hotel is (compared to the one I slept in Venice, Italy). Great services, both attitude of the receptionists and service of breakfast. You should have breakfast at the hotel. It is comfy and relaxing!」

「Poor ventilation, so smelly esp from toilet. Poor drainage, floor inside toilet is flooded after bathing at night, & so it's slippery until next morning. Dusty over rack fir ha hanging clothing 」
