Generally our experience was good. Getting there was fairly easy. Check in went smooth, the view from room over the lake was beautifull.we slept well.Food was good, we had breakfast only.Waiting time for an English breakfast seemed bit long and portion size could be bit bigger.Staff was kind and friendly.We stayed there for 1 night only. My only complain is first impression when we entered our room there were big stains on a carpet, which made us uncomfortable and want to leave immediately.On the drain in shower there was still bit of hairs.Carpets in a hallway are worn off as well. Taken away cleanliness issue it is a good value for the money and a lovely set up over the lake.

The hotel is very clean and the staff polite and helpful. Generously sized rooms with good sized bathrooms. Depending on your way of looking at the hotel it is either outdated ot retro. Breakfast and the food from the restaurant was good quality.

The room was fairly clean, nothing special and dated,the carpet could do with a shampoo, bathroom old and tiered. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was very good and value for money, lots of dogs as dog friendly. Outside back garden was nice with the lovely lake ,plenty of outside seating.the A2 is right beside the hotel, noisy, but the double glazing is good and couldn't hear it when the window was closed.

The hotel is conveniently located right by the A2, there’s plenty of parking, quick and seamless check-in and great lake views. The staff is friendly, helpful and facilitated a complimentary late checkout. The room itself is a bit dated but clean and soundproof. Decent stay overall!
