"The staff in this report are very nice and helpful. The facilities in some areas are very modern and nice especially adult section. However the complex is very spread out and if you're in the family area, rooms are a bit dated. There is a long walk to the main pool and beach, main buffet area. (The smaller 'local' pools did not have an atmosphere). Be prepared as the shuttle cart is not always around and available. It's not very accessible for people in wheelchairs or buggy as elevators were not working. If these are fixed, and people this would be helpful. Overall the resort is nice and friendly staff but just the design/location is not ideal."

"From the check in the property looked beautiful. Then we found out the luxury relaxing pool VIEW we payed for was on the 3rd floor with no elevator! We requested an accessible room so to medical issues and were stuck in a corner looking at a dirt hill (but it was close to the relaxing pool so management didn’t care). There are only 2 bars outside of restaurants at opposite ends of the property (no pool service have to get out and walk to get drink). The service at all restaurants extremely slow over 1 hr wait on food! The portion sizes were small ended up ordering room service in addition most nights. Since day one AC would not go below 71f so maintenance came every day to adjust something that didn’t help On wife’s birthday after dinner and the show came back to a flooded villa! Stepped in and I’m guessing after one of their adjustments they clogged a drain hose because it was down pouring from the ceiling onto suitcase and clothes. Their make up for all the inconveniences was sending another bottle of the free sparkling wine also stated as a (day late) birthday gift! Never have I EVER wanted a vacation to end so bad I’d rather go home and come back to the trusted dependable EXCELLENCE brand instead!"

"This is a beautiful property with so much to do throughout the day. Activities such as volleyball, darts, horseshoes, water polo, aqua gym, stretching, Latin dance lessons, & more continue throughout the day or you can just relax on the lounges & enjoy the sunshine. There are 4 pools, take your pick. Although the beach is not on the property, it is a 7 minute walk through a lovely shaded path or you can be driven there by a golf cart that runs every 10 minutes. The Buffet offers a wonderful variety of food & plenty of fresh fruits & vegetables. There is so much to choose from. There is also an Asian restaurant, Italian & Steak House you can go to without making any reservations. All are delicious. The waiters at all restaurants are very friendly & helpful. You will see Wilbert, one of the head guys at the buffet. We got to know Polo who served us at breakfast. The rooms are spacious, some people say a little dated but were fine for us plus there is a lot of storage. The shows at night are wonderful! The activity folks are amazing working throughout the day & into the night providing exceptional entertainment. They are true professionals. Shout outs to Daniel, Eduardo, Saul, Norbeto, Rafael, Johnny, Nadia & Jacqueline to name a few who helped make our vacation fun, memorable & so enjoyable! You will love the RIU TEQUILLA !!"
