「The reason I gave low stars is because it’s so far out from everything which is fine but I went during winter months and everything at there resort was closed. No bar, no restaurant, why? Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean people stop eating and drinking. I went for work and only stayed 2 nights and it wasn’t a big deal but as I said it’s not exactly convenient to restaurants n such so I ended up ordering takeout. It was a very nice condo though. Perhaps it would be great in the summer 」

「The condo was great for its size and location to a beach. The pools were nice and it’s a secure location. This place could use a deep clean. Dishes all ad to be washed before use, under beads full of dust, and forgotten items. Saw a cockroach on the last day. Also, owner and property management is very slow to respond if there are questions. If we had any issues we would have been in trouble for 24 hours. 」

「Parking was private and super easy. Room 6 was large, spacious and very nicely accommodating. Shower was larger than expected with excellent water pressure. Location is near a very busy intersection with views of the water, the swing bridge, and lots of action but so worth it to be part of it all for downtown’s hustle and bustle of small town Beaufort, SC. Almost walking distance to everything. A great place to stay.」

To call it a hotel seems wrong because while it appears to be a remodeled hotel with outside doors opening to the parking lot, it is precious and it is very well done with special touches that create a true boutique stay. 「We stayed, in a luxury condo unit last week. Overall had a positive experience. The location in general is great! Very close to restaurants, shopping, and things to do. The beach/boardwalk access is a HUGE plus. I would expect this property to be even better during peak season! Outdoor pool areas and the sun deck are all well kept and in good shape. 「Jocelyn at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately her cheery and helpful attitude was the only highlight. The breakfast situation was horrible. There was one, I repeat, ONE person taking breakfast orders, cooking, cleaning tables, replenishing (and keeping an eye on guests understanding that the continent breakfast wasn't included in a room stay) continental breakfast items and coffee. 「The breakfast was pretty good. The man running the breakfast area was on point and pleasant. Couple of issues I had; our room was not exactly clean. There were smudges, dirt and old toothpicks in corners, the bedding had torn corners and worn, the beds were far too tall and I don’t understand how any elderly person would’ve been able to stay there, the bed frames under the bed were collapsing slightly, pull out bed mattress NEEDS to be replaced, a little bit of black mold on the window frames...
