「This place just feels super good. The rooms are kinda basic but nice- nothing unusual but the people who work here are really kind and the place just feels very warm and home like. The location is the best- right next to beautiful views. The breakfast is really good- the scones especially are fire.」

「Reception was helpful and easy to talk to when we arrived (which was late at night, so that was nice). They also had a variety of pakaged baked goods, water bottles, and a coffee bar available. Our room was nicely cleaned and tidy when we arrived. The mirror had some stains from aging and some of the furniture also had shown its age with small fabric cracks or creaking when you sit, but still very usable and very enjoyable! Did not bother us, but something to keep in mind if it does bother you....

「My stay at the Emerald was wonderful! The keypad entries were especially convenient without having to keep up with a key card. I made quite a bit of use of my balcony, which was very enjoyable. The location is extremely convenient to the downtown area. It was overall a very nice day.」

「Stayed there during the Beaufort Water Festival and had a challenge with my wife's arrival that was going to cause me a few headaches. I explained my situation to Jeanette who was checking me in and she went above and beyond to instantly solve and was so kind and gracious while doing it. This place defines Southern Charm and Hospitality. Will stay here again for sure!」

「This was a special celebration for 1st Cousins being reunited and celebrating a birthday. The villa was so beautiful and enjoyable. I would visit again.」

「I hate to post a bad review but for those traveling with families as well to be aware— the pool will be overcrowded, with people blasting their own music and making out near kids, the floors near the pool so hot they can burn feet, mystery drink charges from those next to you will end up on your bill, and the front staff lacks professionalism. The bell/valet will be on his phone while “helping” you. The entire hotel needs a revamp. A burger at the pool bar (which also needs a revamp) will cost...
