8/10 Good
"Over all it was fine. Our room didn't have a vent/fan in the bathroom, and missing light in the entry area. We did have a nice view of the 9/11 memorial and surrounding buildings. We also liked Riverside Market close by as well as the river nearby."

8/10 Good
"Overall, our stay was good, but for nearly $2,000 for one night, the experience fell short of expectations. The pool was easily the highlight and the main reason I would consider returning. We booked a two-room King Suite with a skyline view. While comfortable, the room felt underwhelming for the price and could have used a deeper clean, especially the visibly dusty vents. Service was mediocre overall. The Diptyque toiletries were a nice touch, but when four women staying for a girls’ night requested additional toiletries, the request seemed to be met with annoyance. We also were not given any explanation of the hotel’s amenities at check-in. When we asked to use the pool after checkout, we were told we would need to purchase a separate pool pass, which felt unreasonable after paying such a premium rate. We were also woken by housekeeping around 9:00 a.m. on the morning of checkout. We had been out late and were looking forward to sleeping in. Several of us are moms, so one uninterrupted morning of rest felt like a rare luxury that we unfortunately did not get to enjoy. I do want to recognize the bellmen and valet team, whose service was exceptional, warm, and genuinely appreciated. This was the only area where the service truly stood out. The elevators were also unreliable, repeatedly stopping on incorrect floors before reaching our destination. Overall, the stay was fine and the pool was beautiful, but the room, cleanliness, policies, and service did not match price."

"I've stayed in maybe 8 different NYC hotels over the last 20 years and Soho Grand is by far my favourite one. Great location with beautiful, clean and spacious rooms. Top notch staff and service as well. Highly recommended."
