「Hotel hits all the 5 star spots apart from 2 points. 1 - the rooms are not soundproof at all, and being able to hear the conversations in the room next door so clear that i could repeat what they were saying is not what i would expect. Second - the front desk staff are not as polished and committed to the level of service i would expect from a top end 5 star hotel. Doormen were top class. All in all it's a good hotel, but with so much choice in NY, i have stayed in better.」

「The cleaning was notably awful, they would come in and make the bed and leave everything the way it is, the floor, empty bottles of water on the floor, crumbs on bedside table. Location is good, they make u pay for their pool regardless if u use it or not with is hefty (summer and winter). We stayed at a high floor which was a nice view Manhattan skyline. I would avoid it next time unless the price is unmissable. 」
