「This hotel is way overpriced and poorly staffed . The room ‘s rug was dirty , stained ; the light switches made no sense . The staff taps on your door once and then opens it without even mentioning who they are . How is this a forbes hotel ? The iPad doesn’t seem to work when I tried to request my room service table taken away. I tried calling for over 5 minutes for help with my luggage and no one answered . This was at 1:30 pm. 「Got the Classic King. Great size, esp for an NYC room. Hotel is super chic boutique hotel. Located in the lower east side but easy to walk to SoHo, Little Italy etc, actually a really cool neighborhood. There is a gym. Didn’t see it but I think that’s it’s for amenities. Great restaurants and really happening bar in the evenings. Most importantly all the staff are super kind and helpful from your first experience with the front desk to housekeeping.
