"We stayed for two nights to attend an event at Madison Square Garden, and the hotel’s location was perfect. It offered excellent value for money, especially considering its proximity to MSG.
The building itself is a bit dated and would benefit from some renovation, particularly the carpets, which are quite worn. However, our room was clean and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and good-quality bedding.
Breakfast was good, with a decent selection of protein, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, and other typical options you would expect from this type of hotel chain. The main drawback was the breakfast area, which was far too small for a 36-story hotel with six rooms per floor. As a result, we often had to take our food back to our room to eat.
The elevators were another issue. Given the high volume of guests, waiting for an elevator could take quite a long time.
On the positive side, the complimentary bottles of water available at reception were a very thoughtful touch, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Despite some areas that could use improvement, the excellent location, comfortable room, friendly staff, and good value for money made this hotel a convenient choice for our visit to NYC."
