「The hotel was tired and the breakfast was skimpy.」

「I am shocked at how high of stars this hotel had when it is average at best. The hotel is a whole complex which was difficult to navigate and even find the hotel. It is on a beautiful property, but the beds feel like you’re laying on cheap plastic and the breakfast is disappointing. (No waffle maker, which is always what I’m looking for at hotel breakfast). Overall it was a fine overnight but certainly does not deserve the excellent rating listed. Okay at best」

「Motels as they should be! The classic motor hotel was built as a drive-up. Park car near room. Empty contents to room. Sleep. Load stuff back in car. Travel on. No long, dreary hallways as in most modern hotels. They don't build new lodging this way for a reason: land is expensive. Roofing is expensive. So, you enter, wait for the elevator ride, walk down that long, dark hallway to your room. We're used to it, but it's a hassle compared to this NICE PLACE which has been restored and modernized....

「Our room was on the 4th floor and was clean and comfortable. Other than being charged (and will be later refunded) $100 on top of our stay, it was good. Free parking and nice decor. Comfy bed and good shower!」
