「I booked property for a World Cup match. Walking to either Arrow Stadium or Royals Baseball stadium is but 10 mins. It’s an older property, in a non-visitor area. I was aware. If familiar w/ KC, & hv a vehicle/car svc, getting to main city center, sights, restaurants is extremely simple, & quick. Staff were multilingual, helpful, & generous w/ attention for those nding. Rooms are clean, but property is older. Amenities are limited. Recommend for ez stadium access. Made our World Cup adventure...

「Rooms are tired. Those close to the convention centre are noisy. Pool was good. Bar downstairs had good food. Customer service ok. Good location close to street car, restaurants and easy to walk around.」

「The breakfast bar was basic. Their could have been better bread options...they had a choice of bagel or plain bread to go with sausage patties and fried eggs. If someone wanted biscuits and gravy with sausage they were out of luck.」

「I am shocked at how high of stars this hotel had when it is average at best. The hotel is a whole complex which was difficult to navigate and even find the hotel. It is on a beautiful property, but the beds feel like you’re laying on cheap plastic and the breakfast is disappointing. (No waffle maker, which is always what I’m looking for at hotel breakfast). Overall it was a fine overnight but certainly does not deserve the excellent rating listed. Okay at best」

「I had a terrible experience staying at the Red Lion in Kansas City. The hotel was dirty from the moment I walked in. The hallways had a strong unpleasant smell, and the room was not clean at all. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing and nothing like I expected. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, but this property failed in that regard. I would not recommend staying here...

「They failed to have my reservation for two queen beds and accessibly. They eventually supplied a king bed with a sofa bed and accessible. My son is handicap and had to sleep on the sofa bed. King room was the same price as the queen room. There is no access to the interstate when you leave. We had to back track five (5) miles to get access. Will never stay here again. This hotel is also attached to a casino which caused more problems.」
