"The hotel is amazing! However the rooms you get via Expedia do not reflect the standard of the other regular rooms. (We had a tiny room squeezed in a corner and the view was obstructed by parts of the building: NOT what you would expect if you pay 700$ a night. "

"We just had a nice stay at hotel caribe. Yes the hotel is old and could use some tlc (bathroom door was VERY hard to open from the inside and a couple times friends outside of bathroom had to open it), but nothing that would be a dealbreaker.. our main complaint was double beds for a 4 person room, which are barely big enough for 2 adults to sleep in.. queen size should be standard especially when you are traveling with friends and aren’t planning to spoon each other at night 😬 the front desk staff were great but I want to give a special shoutout to Patricia who was soooo nice and helpful. The hotel is on very close proximity to old San Juan, the excursions like rain forest, boats to icaco island and fajarda are about an hour drive so too far to uber.. we rented a car but it seemed like the hotel had good options to get you to those activities… overall it was a nice hotel but felt a little on the pricey side for the rooms that you get"

"The location was perfect, the staff were friendly and polite. We only stayed 2 night before we caught our cruise, and it was a wonderful stay. A/C was cold and powerful. Will stay again!"

"Nice place, very Loud busy street when trying to sleep on the middle of the Night!!!!! We were woken up to construction on the house without being notified hours of banging drilling No rest and I had a new born and toddler No fun!!!! I would have booked else where. Other than that nice neighborhoods walkable cute restaurants walkable path on the ocean love the town... I would return when they sound proof it lol..."
