「We love staying here, the location and view is always wonderful. Our room was clean and taken care of, only downfall we noticed this past stay was that the elevator stopped working (things happen, we understand) but also the outdoor showers to rinse your belongings off didn’t work at all. These are minor things but when paying a larger price tag, we do expect everything to be functional. I do wish the breakfast area wasn’t so packed and more spaced out because it gets crowded quickly.」

「The staff was very friendly and check in was seamless. The room was clean and we had no issues when asking for extra towels/blankets/etc. Check out was quick and easy by just dropping the keys in the drop box out front. Will definitely consider this place again for a stay in Nags Head.」

「If you’re looking for the perfect dog-friendly getaway in the Outer Banks, I can’t recommend the Sanderling Resort enough. The entire experience feels peaceful, upscale, and incredibly welcoming, especially for dog owners. One of the best parts is the private beach access, where you can spend the entire day relaxing with your pups. The resort sets up umbrellas and lounge chairs for you, making it so easy to settle in and just enjoy the ocean breeze together. It honestly feels like a luxury...

「The place was just what we needed for a quick rest but it was a little janky to be expected. There was a gross rag in the bathroom and sand all in our bed before we even laid down pre beach!」

「The floors were very sandy. I just checked my credit card and I was charged $200.00 for the pet fee that I was quoted $100.00. Their dog park was full of holes and tall weeds. I asked when they were going to cut the tall weeds and 5 days later the weeds all around the hotel still hadn’t been cut. For a Marriott that place needed a lot of maintenance work inside and outside. The breakfast was okay and the clean up ladies were very nice.」
