"The Island Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay for our quick trip out of town! Our room was so clean and extremely well-maintained. It was really nice because it was away from all the in-season crowds but still close to the beaches and more touristy areas. "Loved that there was a continental breakfast included as well as an evening wine and snacks provided. Perfect location for beach access. Only suggestion I would have is having beach chairs and a pool shade umbrella - even for a fee. We flew in and rented a car so had to go out and purchase beach chairs"

"The rooms are a little dated and could use some TLC, but it was clean and the AC worked really well - which we really appreciated after being on the beach all day. It is nothing fancy, but there were breakfast items (muffins, fruit, juice, coffee, nutrigrain bars) every morning, the staff was friendly and helpful, it was quiet, and very close to the beach and a public beach access."

"Oksana and Mike were wonderful host with communication and information. There was a parking issue when we arrived cause others parked incorrectly and they were quick to get things fixed and had everything all set up for snacks and drinks. We stayed in Suite 4 and had perfect view of the beach and could be on the sand within minutes. The whole house is immaculate and everyone was so kind that we ran into who was also staying. 10/10 because I initially wanted to save some and get a hotel but so glad we spent a little extra to find this place. 100% worth it if you are wanting easy access to the beach, close to everything, clean and family friendly. There is even a restaurant right across the street so perfectly for beach day and then walk over for some margs and Seafood. 100% will look for this place when we come back! Thank you Oksana and Mike!"

"The location is excellent and the property was clean. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is that the bathroom in the Surfside Room (Standard Double Room, 1 Queen Bed) was not working. The toilet wasn't flushing, the sink wasn't draining and the shower leaked. I ended up using the shared bathroom downstairs instead of the private one attached to my room. After my stay, the owners said the issues have been fixed. They recommend letting them know right away, as they're happy to address problems as soon as they're reported. I personally did not want to have maintenance work done during my stay, but if everything is in perfect order as the owner claims, I would recommend this place and consider staying here again. Thank you."
