「The suite was amazing, beautiful property 」

「I always worry about booking a place that isn't run by a Superhost, or a hotel. You never know what you walking into, and whether there is anyone who can help. We arrived at 6:30pm. Lots of day light left, so no issues finding the place, or getting in. The WiFi was down, and we needed a blanket. Called the support phone number at 7pm. The answering service took a message. At 9am the next day (after we'd left, and been on the road for an hour) we got a text asking if we still needed help....

「The staff were some of the best people I’ve met . We came in late the lights were on and they knew my name. Awesome place to visit.It’s Okracoke, so if you’re looking for the Ritz go to Corolla or Duck.」

「The main problem was the pool. It wasn't clean/available. Everything else was great! 」

「Always a good clean place to stay here at cape pines. Owners and staff are beyond nice and keep this place clean and tight. I live a few hours away and stay here often for work several days at a time. Never had a bad experience and would recommend to anyone. Good honest folks 」

「Property its self is suitable. However the beach access is horrible! We couldn’t fully enjoy ourself because there was so much concrete and sewage in the waters. Dead fish all up and down beach! 」

「We came out for our anniversary and had a wonderful time! The sauna and cold plunges were being repaired, which was disappointing, but understandable to service them in the off season. It was quiet and very relaxing and our text to the concierge was very quick!」

「There is no beach front due to erosion. Ocean view? - the ocean was going under the motel. Could not regulate room temperature and windows would not open to catch the ocean breeze. Floor by entrance door was damaged , lifted, cracked and soft. Don’t let the website pictures fool you! 」

「Clean, comfortable and affordable room with nice shower! Bri met us with a smile and showed us around the place. We were not able to use the cute fire-pit area or tiki bar due to inclement weather, but I'm sure it's a hit on nice evenings. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the main house. Rooms come with a fridge which is great if you go out to eat and have leftovers. Centrally located on the island. 」

「I would say as a whole the place was very nice. Our toilet would run and run and run and never shut up. As well, they could use hooks for towels in the route in the bathrooms. As well, they should have hangers and extra blankets if needed.」
