"Overall, a good experience. The location is excellent, and the hotel was clean. Breakfast is ok, The only thing we didn't like was that the room smelled musty. Aside from that, everything was good, and we enjoyed our stay."

"They do not present themselves as a resort - and they excel in providing a welcoming and helpful staff, recently renovated rooms that are clean, spacious with comfortable furniture and beds. The location on the beach is great, just north of the pier. I would definitely stay here again, but stay on the beach side!"

"The location, breakfast and pool are the best points. The building definitely needs some upgrades. Our balcony had a large crack and rust. The room itself was nice but dirty. Came into handprints all over the ocean view window. There was something spilled on the coffee machine and floor near fridge. I found several pieces of trash in our room upon coming into the room.We were out of towels and soap and it took multiple requests to get any. At night there is just one worker and he is running ad there is no one to help him. We plan to return to nags head but would probably try another place."
