「The hotel is old, needs upgrading. It was clean but the room had a musty smell. The restaurants and bars were ok. The Veranda was better than the buffet. Expected better food. 「This was our second time to stay with the coral princess. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating! The snorkeling is great. So much to see! The rooms are clean and spacious. I love that you can get a king suite and add connecting rooms if you're bringing additional families. The food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. 「Love this hotel and have stayed several times over the years. It’s a great hotel for divers, has a wonderful breakfast bar, the rooms are always clean and the staff is quite friendly. It is close to the square and many fine restaurants. I find it a great value for the money.」

「The hotel was what I expected for its rating. Not much for amenities, bring a washcloth & hand towel. Our room was above the bar and the music was not loud in our room. Hotel Barracuda has a great location close to the plaza with water access. We were unsure about the free parking, but the Mega parking lot across the street did work for us. The island of Cozumel does charge a security fee of $35 us paid upon your arrival to the hotel now (2026).」
