I recently stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The resort needs better separation of family and adult dining areas. At the buffet, children were often running around and disrupting guests. While the staff was friendly, drink service was very slow—refills were rare, and we often had to order multiple drinks at once or bring bottled water ourselves (despite us tipping generously). Food quality was inconsistent, with items like rice and pasta frequently undercooked. Entertainment and activities were also limited for such a large property. The highlight of the stay was the room—beautiful, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job daily. Unless you pay for an upgrade, no in-room snacks are provided, and the on-site shop is extremely overpriced (e.g., $9 USD for small chips), so we purchased items off-site instead. For comparison, I previously stayed at Ocean Maya Royale and enjoyed it more overall, though the food there also needed improvement. Despite a few positives, I would not return to this resort.

My stay was excellent. The room was spotless, the staff provided consistently friendly service, and the amenities were impressive. The food options for both on-site' buffet and in the reserved restaurants were high quality and made the experience even better.

Was a very clean room. Impressed with the food at almost all of the restaurants we went to. We found it odd that a lot of the food options were closed between 4:30 and 5:30.Poolside bar staff were 10/10. The beach was small but not overpopulated.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort. The customer service was excellent — the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious with great variety. Everything was clean and well organized. I truly enjoyed my vacation and would definitely come back!

The trip was great. The room was comfortable and lots of options for food. We had Antonio for our butler and he was amazing. Without him we would’ve had a hard time sorting through reservations with a large group but he made our trip so easy and relaxing. We couldn’t ask for a better butler. He felt like a friend and was so warm and welcoming. The beach was great and the pools were warm. My only complaint is that we loved the crepery but it was only open from 12:30-4 and we would’ve loved to have it as an option for breakfast because it was so good. Overall we had a great trip and taking tons of memories with us. A huge thank you to the staff and Antonio for everything.

This resort was wonderful. The rooms were clean, well-stocked and very large. I loved having a balcony. We upgraded to El Beso to take advantage of the adults only section. It was worth the money to make the upgrade. The only issue was the restaurants that you had to make a reservation for. Unless you are a Privileged member, you won't get a reservation before 9:30pm, so we were not able to get into the Steakhouse or in the Japanese restaurant. However, that is okay because Blue Moon and Pez Vela were spectacular meals and the buffet was one of the best I have seen. The service, from the front desk to the wait staff, was outstanding. Thank you for a great stay, we can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Rivera Paradise. Friendly staff, buffet had a good selection, the pools and swim up bars were wonderful. The beach was lovely. I am deducting a star for the following reason(s): our bathroom sink was leaking, the process to make a dinner reservation wasn’t efficient. You had to line up at 8:30am to book at the Japanese restaurant and the line up was about 45-50min long. They booked our excursion on the wrong day. All in all it’s a great resort for families!

The staff at this property are exceptional. Our room was spotless, Bettina (I may have her name wrong, apologies) made towel animals that my kids adored and were excited for every day. Yhara at privilege check in was incredibly helpful, getting us a master suite for the extra space with the kids. Our butler, Rosa, ensured we had dinner times at our preferred restaurants with the best times to eat with our kids. Adriàn was also incredibly helpful when we stopped by the butler desk. My kids loved them both and got so excited anytime they would stop and chat. Karina at Mike's makes the best coffees and remembered our orders. Novelo and Jose in the privilege lounge gave amazing service. I've never been to a resort that was as diligent about food allergies, having 2 dairy allergies in the family, I would come here again just for the peace of mind. Every bartender, server, maintenance staff, and alike were so friendly and really lifted the atmosphere. The upgrade to privilege was well worth it and I look forward to the next time we can visit. Great food, so many activities, clean resort, and fantastic employees. A true 5 star for families.

Be prepared once you arrive, there are premier areas that you cannot use at the resort. Also, they told us that room service was avaliable for us to use anytime, but it was not. They asked us to attend a one hour seminar to try to sell us the premier access to the resort, they were extremely friendly upon our arrival, however that changed immediately once I declined to purchase anything. Paola working at the beach restaurant is the RUDEST employee here, the food was good here but, we never went back because we never wanted to deal with her ignorance. The staff servers at the other restaurants are there to do their job, not personable at all and sometimes treated us as we were a bother whenever we asked a question or for something we needed. However, Karina and the other ladies at the Cofee shop were amazing, so kudos to them. I would not stay here again. It was not bad but it wasn't great. Wish I left here with an amazing experience to recommend this resort.

Staff were very friendly and the buffet offered a lot of selection each day. We had to make a couple of calls about the room cleaning/ servicing and a noisy air conditioner. Getting a chair poolside or beach was impossible unless you got out before sunrise and claimed your spot with a towel. The special restaurants require you to line up at 8:30 in the morning to get a spot … unless you pay for premium. A couple of other cost cutting measures included the crepe restaurant only open 4 hours a day and the ice cream parlour was only open late afternoon and evening. As long as you like loud dance music from 11 - 6 El Beso is the place for you. The other pools were pretty much the same volume and there wasn’t much for actual beach front that wasn’t taken up by the reclining beds but again, only for privilege access. Not a terrible stay but certainly not a feeling of everything being taken care of. I will look around a bit more before doing another Cancun all-inclusive

Many reasons: 1. We said before our stay that we were there to celebrate our anniversary and in the day there was nothing special they did for us. And we show they did it for other customers. 2. The bars consistently missed one or the other ingredient for the mix and almost never made the drink they said they would. Same with true food. In the fine dining menu they listed ingredients that did not show up on the plates. 3. My wife was pregnant and there was little willingness from some staff members to help her or get her a non alcoholic beer. In general some staff members just seemed to be angry or in a bad mood. They kept forgetting our orders or reservations. A disaster if one considers this is a 5 star hotel with fine dining restaurants.

The staff were nice all the time they were helpful. My boyfriend and I were so surprised that they upgraded out because it was our anniversary and we were very thankful for. They always did a great job of making sure the hotel was clean, and when we wanted our room clean they did a good job. But when you wanted to go to the pool it was cool. The food was oh ok it was sometime was very sweet or grace's. When you want to the beach there was a lot of people that keep on asking to sale things. But the beach was gorgeous to look at. Also, when we booked an extension they didn’t tell us it would be an extra cost when the people picked us up. Their alcohol was good but sometimes tastes like it was artificial. There bowling was good it was nice a clean and if your lane was down they right away, fixed it. They had good live music at the night time.
