Our stay was great at this resort. There are multiple choices of cuisines and restaurants, but the reservation only restaurants would require bookings and they would take bookings only on the day you would like to book which is not ideal and you can end up in a long queue to reserve in your favorite restaurants. Pools were huge, beautiful and clean. Each building have a separate pool which was designed based on whether it's having kids or an adult. Only building the water park was also great. Most of the pools have swim up bars with variety of drinks. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. However, during busy season the wait times are longer and everything takes much longer. For example, check-in might be 30 to 45 minutes. This is very family friendly pool. The best thing is their main square is having one thing or the other every night. There are a lot of good bands which we enjoyed during our stay and there is a lot of activities for kids. They have bouncy castles, mini golf, face paint, karaoke, kids ride. Pop up snack bars and markets every night. The shows at the theaters are also great. One downside is the buffet menu is more or less same especially for breakfast lunch. They have special nights for dinners. Biggest bummer is the beach. It's a very small, rocky, not like a beach you would would expect in Tulum or Cancun. Or a five-star beach resort.

Me encantó. Viajamos seguido a la Riviera Maya y nos hemos quedado en varios hoteles tanto de lujo, como económicos. Este en partícular me perece que ofrece la mejor relación calidad precio de los que hemos estado. Me sorprendió gratamente la comida, siempre fuimos al buffet y tanto mis hijas como yo encontramos variedad de platillos que estaban bastante bien. La habitación estaba muy cómoda, las sábanas de buena calidad. A mis hijas les encantó que había coatis, monos, mapaches y lagartijas. El personal es atento. Sin duda volveríamos a quedarnos ahí.

The property was filled with nature. We loved seeing the monkeys, coatis, and iquanas in their natural habitats. Rooms were ample with space, but need some renovations. It was frustrating waiting in a line each morning to reserve some of the restaurants. This could have been streamlined. Service at the bars was extremely slow as there weren't enough employees to handle the crowds. Ocean and pool nearest the ocean were our favorites. Massages off property were amazing and affordable. Resort is nice for families.

It was OK. Lack of engagement, evening entertainment, and activities team which would have encouraged guests to better socialize and enjoy their time away. (Compared to many past stays at other resorts like RIU.) Pools are fine but somewhat dated and would benefit from resurfacing. Service staff in restaurants appeared to simply be putting in their time. They would hear you but not listen to you often resulting in wrong orders being served. (Not a language barrier - simply rushing and not hearing.) Made us feel many did not actually enjoy their employment at this resort.

Nice hotel, very large. It’s a bit like a small town. Entertainment wasn’t great. When the wind is down, the beach is very nice and they keep it very clean. A solid four star hotel. We have stayed in several in Cancun and this one rates well.

Overall this is a nice resort. We stayed in early March during prime time. That being said here are the pros and cons: Pros - overall it is a nice resort with various things to do and pools to lounge around - staff were friendly and worked hard to make our stay pleasant - the food was good, and they had a good selection of drinks with name brands - bar service was usually pretty quick and there were bars and snack places at each pool - we mostly ate at the à la carts and enjoyed the food - we discovered late that the resort app offered free room service (between certain hours) called Ocean Eats, which offered fast food style lunch and snacks, it was great for us because we had a swim up room and had lunch by the pool - the rooms were large, beds comfortable, and were cleaned daily with the usual towel sculpture Cons - we’ve stayed at other Mexican 5-stars and, in comparison, this would be a 4.5-star - the buffet is small and poorly laid out leading to long lines at the egg stations and for buffet items - the buffet lacked the fresh items we’ve had at other resorts - we had issues getting longe chairs around the pools which is unusual for 5-star resorts - the resort uses towel cards with penalty for lost cards - the resort is long and thin and offers shuttles, these were inconsistent and we often just walked (our mother who has some mobility issues) - too many signs for expensive upsells - had to reserve à la carts which weren’t always open - lots of waiting

Terrible SPA Experience: Deceptive Bait-and-Switch! My wife and I had a gift certificate for "1 Hour Hydrotherapy." We booked with a male receptionist, but the next day, a female receptionist gave us an unrequested 20-minute massage instead. When I complained, they finally let us into the hydrotherapy area. The real scam happened when we left. The male receptionist reappeared and aggressively demanded $120 per person for the 20-minute massage we never asked for! I refused this bait-and-switch and demanded to see a supervisor. He pretended to call one, but luckily, I found the actual manager working nearby. After explaining their deceptive upselling tactics, the manager let us leave without paying. Avoid this SPA if you don't want to be scammed!

Was not informed of my downgraded room, due to my child being 11. Also was not able to utilize app. Room service only allowed me to order for onw person instead of two

Lowest level of service I’ve ever received at a resort. Every venue (bars, restaurants and coffee shop) had long lines and minimum staff. Timeshare type presentations was 4 hrs of our day when promised it was only an hour. Offered lots of gifts for taking part and then only received a fraction of them. When I asked what happened was ignored and fed lies I will never be back and wouldn’t recommend this or any H10 properties

Good sized room. Decent restaurant choice. The hotel is looking a little tired. Excellent staff. The biggest issue is the towels on sunbeds without people using them. We experienced unused sunbeds with “reserved towels” for 4 hours. The hotel doesn’t enforce its rules which can lead to guest confrontations.

Resort is nice! Stuff are very nice and helpful! Family-friendly place. Pools are nice! Food is ok. I would really recommend to clean a rooms a bit more- doors, bath tub, floor in the bathroom, sink. Also- not a single show in a whole week! Karaokes- almost every day🙈.

Loved the restaurant selection here. Never really a problem to find a place to eat every night that’s not the buffet. Drinks selection was unlimited and they even set up extra margarita stands every night. Loved the abundance of wildlife. So fun to watch the monkeys every morning, the coatis every day and the kitties by night.
