The room was amazing and the housekeeping and service personnel were great, but is the first time that we weren’t happy with the service in the buffet and some restaurants.

Overall the stay was good. The food was good and the buildings were nice. Only thing I would say needs improvement is the policy for the chairs by the pools. People would place their towels at 6am and by the time 9 am rolled around there were no chairs. People would go eat or go back to their rooms for a break, but their towels remained on the chair and people who actually wanted to be in the pool could not place there items anywhere. Also, the constant urge from the privilege employees at or near the lobby to take a tour of that side of the resort. Luckily we just said no thank you, but after the 3rd day it started getting annoying. I do like the activities for the children and the waterpark. Also the staff at the bar and restaurants are super friendly!

I absolutely loved the service and staff here. We upgraded to Privilege status and it was well worth it. What’s nice about this property is it’s smaller and more intimate. You could get around easily and felt very safe. The food was better than other all-inclusive resorts we have been to. And the location is great for a lot of the popular tourist areas like XPlor and XCaret. We really loved our stay.

La habitación no le dan mantenimiento a los muebles (habitación 1417). Prácticamente solo usamos las piscinas, pues, la playa un desastre, tuvimos que pagar más de $200 dólares para "disfrutar" unas pocas horas, el viaje fue de 2 horas. Deben de poner más transporte interno y no hacer tantas divisiones de jerarquía.

We arrived at Ocean Riviera Paradise with high hopes after reading glowing reviews, but the experience quickly turned into a letdown. Check-in was painfully slow—not due to a line, but because the receptionist, Lizeth, was unfriendly and slow. Our rooms smelled of mold and were uncomfortably hot, with noisy fans that couldn’t be used. Transportation around the resort was poorly managed, with long waits in the sun. The buffet was limited and repetitive, and staff were inattentive—we often had to ask multiple times just to get drinks. Many of us, including children, got diarrhea. There’s no 24/7 snack bar, and when I asked for five cappuccinos at the coffee shop, I was shamed by staff for ordering “too many.” So much for “all-inclusive.” Booking specialty restaurants was frustrating. When we finally got into La Locanda, our group of 16 was only accommodated if we purchased three bottles of wine for $120. We felt pressured. Service and food were disappointing there and at the Steak House, where meals arrived cold. A serious safety issue occurred when my pregnant cousin was scratched by a faulty glass door. Staff dismissed it with, “We know, but what can we do?” The beach was unusable—no sand, no space for kids to play, just seaweed. Overall, the resort failed to deliver on comfort, service, and basic hospitality. We left extremely disappointed and won’t return. I hope this helps others set realistic expectations.

Great place to stay. Staff were very friendly. Pools were great, food was good. We found the buffet served the best food. Rooms could do with repainting and new mirrors, some cracked tiles. Our room smelled musty and all our clothes were damp, even medication I took with me was damp in the container. I know humidity was very high. We had two rooms and they only cleaned our kids room three times. However I really liked the resort and I would go back again. Great value for money.

This was my first time visiting this resort and i absolutely loved it!....Great option for restaurants with good food, lots of pools, rooms were clean and facility is very well maintained and beautiful. I loved the resort! It would have been nice to have the trolleys run more frequently at times though. Overall great experience and I will definitely come back!

The rooms were ok but not luxurious as it is seem in the pictures. The room we checked into had strong mold smell and we had to demand to move into a different room. The readiness from the resort to accommodate room related requests submitted far in advanced were not addressed and felt like they scrambled to throw us wherever available at arrival. People were leaving towels in the pool on chairs to reserve seats and then leave causing no room for considerate guests.

Cockroaches in the room!!! We reserved suite with jacuzzi, NOT WORTH IT.. it was facing the back of the hotel where all of the construction workers walk by, who whats to be out there!!! Definitely needs maintenance and cleaning! I dont think Id ever stay there again.
