「The exhaust vent in the hallway on the fourth floor is extremely noisy! Handheld shower handle was a low quality product. The omlets for breakfast were not very good. Enjoyed the automated brewed coffee in the breakfast area, it was very good. However, the coffee served in the lobby was terrible. The desk clerk said I am not eligible for IHG points since I made my reservation through Expedia.」

「I had a wonderful stay at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island. The resort is beautifully designed and peacefully surrounded by lots of greenery, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. The beach location is perfect, just a short walk away. The hotel grounds themselves are also very well maintained and beautiful. I was completely satisfied with my stay and would definitely come back.」

「I booked a king room with a balcony. When we got there, we checked in, parked pretty far away, carried our luggage to out room only to find 2 queen beds. 「Hotel was perfect. There were three pools and one was totally for children. One definitely was it an adult pool. Hot tubs, Tiki bar, great marketplace, great food couldn’t ask for anything more.」

「We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.」

「They have no in person check-in so you expect a code to get in the room on the day of arrival. However, in my case, and that was two weeks in a row they did not send the code because I booked the room through Expedia and apparently Expedia did not facilitate the transfer of funds so I had to make a few phone calls before I would get the code.
