「The exhaust vent in the hallway on the fourth floor is extremely noisy! Handheld shower handle was a low quality product. The omlets for breakfast were not very good. Enjoyed the automated brewed coffee in the breakfast area, it was very good. However, the coffee served in the lobby was terrible. The desk clerk said I am not eligible for IHG points since I made my reservation through Expedia.」

「We found the hotel was clean and well maintained but a little dated. Breakfast was not that great so we stopped and got breakfast on the road. It is a great value. A great place to stay and close to the beach and also close to bike rentals.」

「I had a wonderful stay at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island. The resort is beautifully designed and peacefully surrounded by lots of greenery, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. The beach location is perfect, just a short walk away. The hotel grounds themselves are also very well maintained and beautiful. 「I booked a king room with a balcony. When we got there, we checked in, parked pretty far away, carried our luggage to out room only to find 2 queen beds. Noone informed us of a room change prior to walking in and finding out ourselves. It would have been nice to be informed when checking in at least. 「They have no in person check-in so you expect a code to get in the room on the day of arrival. However, in my case, and that was two weeks in a row they did not send the code because I booked the room through Expedia and apparently Expedia did not facilitate the transfer of funds so I had to make a few phone calls before I would get the code. 「Room is old, bathtub is rusted, caulking around toilet was black. The room smells like no one lives in it for a while. While it rained, the water overflow to the door. The only pleasant thing was the staff was really nice and helpful. I don't think I will go back again unless they make some improvement」
