「The staff was super helpful and friendly. The only “negative” thing I would say is that due to the design of the property with all room doors opening into the courtyard it is quite a bit noisy. People talking, dragging luggage, and housekeeping carts make more noise than you’d think when trapped in a rectangular indoor courtyard. Our room was on a corner, so that might have contributed to the amount of noise. If you aren’t concerned with a bit of noise throughout the night, the location is...

「Breakfast was great and the attendants were always putting out fresh food and kept the tables clean.」

「The room was fine. The only thing is that I feel certain things were not cleaned well. Stains on doors and walls, in multiple spots; starting with the door of the room before you actually walk in. Also the baseboards were visibly stained. I did ask to check in early I feel like they could have said we will not have the room available until it’s time for check in. Because that’s when the room was actually available. Valet was efficient. Housekeeping came. I did enjoy my stay and would book again.」

「The executive corner level room was very clean and quiet. The executive level R Lounge was closed for entire trip,which was not disclosed in advance. The free breakfast at the Desire Oyster Bar restaurant was good, as were the chargrilled oysters at dinner. Le Booze ( formerly very nice cigar bar) has turned into nothing but a wall of tvs, indistinguishable from any other bar on Bourbon Street. The pool was packed, though the hotel wasn't. 「The hotel was very lovely and in the heart of the French Quarter. This made it easy for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go easily. We had an issue with a loose toilet seat. I texted them and a person was at our door within 10 minutes to fix it. We would stay here again for a touch of luxury when we visit again!」
