「櫃檯的態度很差，我們想要early checkin平台上告知是要25塊，然後我也私訊飯店很多次了，但都回的很慢，之後到現場櫃檯說要50塊，也太扯，我們直接說不用了。 最後check out的男生倒是蠻好的，有問必答。總統這個態度我下次不會想來，早餐倒是普通，每天都一樣。 泳池超級小不推薦。 前方停車要錢。」

「I enjoyed my stay at the Merchant. I loved the history of the property, its location, the extra comfort touches everywhere in both the common areas and the individual rooms. The small deck in the rear of the building offered a pleasant seating area outside, the property is well maintained inside and out. Loved being able to walk everywhere, can’t wait to return to Salem and the Merchant. 」

「What a unique stay! The free parking and breakfast was a bonus- but a really convenient one. The property is super walkable to all the things, but quiet and safe. The staff was really helpful and friendly. It was a nice historic property, it was a lucky find!」

「I've been staying at this hotel since 2016. I love the location, the cleanliness. They've done some upgrades! It's always quiet and comfortable. I miss the complimentary beverage they used to have at the front desk. 1 year was apple cider and it was probably the best apple cider I ever had. :) This place is always my first recommendation for anyone thinking to visit, especially if you're thinking of visiting the Salem events in October. 」
