You cannot beat the location of this property. The subway is behind the hotel, the beach is across the street, Starbucks off the lobby and the restaurant Dryft-Revere was the best food we ate while in Boston. Made a point to end one of our days early so we could eat a second time. There is also a convenience store around the corner to pick up snacks.
The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Don’t deny housekeeping. We normally do but if you go to the beach at all you will want it. I would suggest finding a way to allow guests to get the sand off their feet when they come in from the beach but I understand then you would just have a wet lobby instead of a sandy one.
The negatives were manageable. One of the elevators isn’t working properly but once you figure it out, it’s fine.
The breakfast is your typical continental breakfast, nothing special.
When we came in from the airport, we planned to use the shuttle. Took me probably 10 minutes to get someone to answer the phone at the front desk to arrange the shuttle and then the driver was obviously behind and in a rush with the way he drove and the phone call we over heard from the hotel staff about another transport.
Lastly, the room was not my favorite. It is a new property so there isn’t anything to be done but the bathroom runs parallel to the beds and the sliding door to the bathroom is that frosted glass therefore when someone goes to the restroom in the middle of the night, the light is bright in the room.
