「Great location. However no parking. No bag drop off. Nearest parking garage does not have an elevator and .2 miles of brick and cobblestones. Micro king requires one spouse to climb over the other to go to bathroom. Room only suitable for those that pack light. Water, coffee and snack bar very good. Breakfast and rooftop bar very good. Location very good. Front desk was not staffed at 8 pm.when we arrived. Had to call with a button. Location is very good. Design is attractive.」

「I traveled solo to this destination. I was shocked by how I was treated by the front desk staff the first day that I went out to head to Salem and surrounding. Literally ignored, the front desk staff didn’t make eye contact or acknowledge me. I also had heavy bags and there was no ramp, and no stairs so that was very uncomfortable. The exterior and interior are so mismatched and the beautiful historic look of the building is such a let down with the cheap “renovation” attempt to create a modern...

「Pros: Nice hotel overall, smells good and is clean inside. Nice restaurant too, and is very close to Salem, where we were going. Con’s: The staff was nonchalant or just plain out rude. Mainly at the restaurant (Sophie’s). Two ladies worked there, one ignored me for the longest time and then treated me like nuisance when I ordered. I asked this other woman with glasses at the restaurant for extra cream cheese for three bagels which I paid for and was willing to pay for more cream cheese and they...
